DESIGN DEVELOPMENT Generally this stage includes the development of the sketch design to a level required for Development Application with Local Council's. At this stage the drawings look more like the drafted plans people are used to seeing, and are targeted to assist Council with their assesment of a Development Application. Standard outcomes from this stage may include: Develop the approved sketch design into a final design solution Co-ordinate other design work undertaken by consultants Provide a schedule of materials and finishes Review the final design against budget Prepare necessary documents for planning application and assist the client lodging the application Assist in obtaining approval by negotiating and attending meetings Obtaining client's approval before commencing Contract Documentation
